Are you accepting new therapy clients?
Yes, I am currently accepting new therapy clients in California! To get in touch, you can email me at lyla@herspacela.com or you can fill out the Her Space Therapy contact form and indicate that you’d like to work with me.

Where do I have to live to work with you?
As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor pursuing licensure in California, I can currently only work with California residents. I am based in San Francisco and the group practice I work for, Her Space Therapy, is based in Los Angeles. Since I work remote, I can see clients throughout the state.

What does associate therapist mean?
The California Board of Behavioral Services requires counselors to gain 3,000 hours of clinical work post-graduation. I am in the process of acquiring these hours. During this time, I meet with a supervisor weekly to make sure I am conducting therapy in an ethical and effective way. It’s like having two therapists in one!
